FAQ

VISIT

Are you open year-round?

Yes! We are open year-round and our hours change upon the season. We typically take a brief winter nap in January (currently planned for January 1 – 11, 2024). We always have offerings and events each month, so there is something to do any season here!

Can I bring outside food or beverages?

We cannot allow outside food, beverages, open cans and bottles, or coolers on property. We have beverages and farm-to-table dining options available!

Are dogs allowed?

Unfortunately, dogs are not currently permitted on the property.

Do you offer tours?

Yes, tours are currently offered at select times and reservations are suggested – please see public tour details on our visit page. We also offer private tours and tastings for larger groups (parties of 15+).

Can I order wine OR beer?

Yes! We have both wine and beer available in all of our onsite offerings. Enjoy in tasting flights or by the glass / pint. We do sell wine bottles and beer 4-packs to-go, though we do not permit bottles / cans to be open onsite to ensure the safe consumption of alcohol by our guests.

Do you have food?

Yes! Our full dining menus change weekly, as we focus on sourcing local ingredients as well as produce from our own culinary garden.

Do you offer take-out food?

Take-out is dependent upon how busy our kitchen is. During the high season, we are not often able to accommodate take-out. We suggest table reservations for dining (or entry reservations for our summer weekend cook-out menu).

Is ‘Brix’ still operating?

We now utilize the upstairs dining room for our regular winery & brewery dining when there is a private event downstairs (most Fridays & Saturdays during the high season). While the ‘Brix’ name is no longer, we feature many menu favorites and specials on our daily dining menu.

Do you have parking?

Yes, we offer free parking for customers. Please utilize our parking lot and do not park on the street or in the neighborhood nearby.

Are all ages welcome?

All ages are welcome to the property, though children are not to be left unattended. We do have non-alcoholic beverage options available.

Can I take pictures / walk in the vines?

Yes, our property is open to roaming, except the vines are closed during private event times. The views and patio can still be enjoyed though! For those inquiring for photoshoots: please reach out to us to confirm a date and time.

How large of a group can I bring?

The maximum reservation size is 15 guests for table / dining service. Tables for parties of this size are very limited. The maximum party size for our Tank Patio summer weekend entry is 15 guests. We ask that you do not make multiple smaller reservations in anticipation of receiving one large table or being next to each other. We are not able to accommodate these requests.

Do you allow limos and buses?

Only for drop-off. Due to high volume, no parking is available onsite. Limos and buses are not permitted to park in the nearby neighborhoods. Parking may be found by traveling down the street towards the business district of Middletown.

Do you have a dress-code?

We do not have a required attire to join us, but we recommend dressing warm as we have large windows, doors, and tall ceilings! Comfortable shoes are recommended if you wish to walk around, too!

Can I bring my own chairs?

Yes! We highly recommend bringing your own chairs and blankets to enjoy the vines. Ple

What time is last call?

Last call is typically 45 minutes to 1 hour after our last seating for the day, and is at the discretion of management based on circumstances, or the needs of events on property. Guests are welcome to ask a staff member anytime.

Do you do anything for special celebrations?

We have desserts available on our dining menus, plus we have other special cake offerings – please call us to inquire!

PRODUCTS

Are your wines vegan / GF?

Our wines are not certified vegan or gluten free, however, no animal products are used to make our wines, and grapes are naturally gluten free, so they are safe for consumption in both cases.

Do you sell your wine glasses?

Yes! Our wine glasses are available to purchase in our retail store.

Do you have a wine club?

Our Cru Club is a points centered membership program. Every $100 spent is $5 earned to use while dining or shopping. Points can be accrued anywhere on site; dining, in the brewery or tasting room, or while shopping. Purchases of 6 bottles will receive $6 off, and a full case of 12 will get a 15% discount, and a voucher for 2 free tastings! The best part is it’s FREE!

Do you have non-alcoholic options?

Yes! We offer local Rhode island brand sodas and lemonades, house made mocktail creations, and, when available, our Taproot Brewing Co. Summertime Free non-alcoholic beer.

Can I find your wines or beers in stores / ship?

Only select wines from our large portfolio are distributed to RI and MA. We do ship our wines to most states here. Our beers are not distributed as we prefer to focus on small batches to provide only the freshest brews onsite! Beers cannot be shipped (unfortunately) due to state laws.

How much do wine and beer flights cost?

Our wine flights are currently $22 for four 2 ounce pours! That’s roughly 1.5 glasses! Our beer flights are $18 for four 5 ounce pours, which is almost two pints!
