  • Barrel of Laughs Comedy Show: Ray Harrington

    Saturday, July 7 | 8:00 p.m. Showtime

    Join us for an evening of wine and a barrel of laughs as host and comedian Jeremy Furtado welcomes comedians from around the region and headliner Ray Harrington!

    Ray is an infectiously charming comedian who performs across the globe with hilariously irreverent material and marvelous improvisational riffing that embraces the uncomfortable and the absurd with a smile. His documentary BE A MAN won the LA Comedy Festival and was featured as ‘New and Noteworthy’ Internationally on iTunes before premiering exclusively on Hulu. His first album from Stand Up!     Join us for extended Taproot Brewing Co. and winery tasting room hours each Wednesday 5pm – 8pm through the summer! Enjoy live music near the firepits while overlooking the vines.     Newport Vineyard’s Scratch Series opens the doors to our kitchens for an up-close instruction on how we run a 100% from-scratch culinary program. An intimate group of guests will join our Executive Chef Andy Teixeira and his culinary team INSIDE our kitchen to learn the step-by-step process on making your own jams and jellies and how to jar your favorite fruits and veggies for the winter. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of wine before heading into the kitchens for the demonstrations, followed by light fare made from their creations and paired with a second glass of wine. PLUS!
